Suzanne Alexandria

Suzanne is a digital communications strategist and has worked with small and large organizations and federal agencies to guide strategic decision-making for websites and social media for over fifteen years. Beginning in the late 90s, Suzanne worked for Forum One Communications, a Washington, DC-based digital agency, where she worked with organizations including InterAction, Save the Children, the World Bank, USAID, Winrock International, and Refugees International. She led teams of designers, developers, and information architects to plan, design, and build effective websites and accompanying communications strategies to extend their influence.

Beginning in 2012, Suzanne worked for Aquilent, Inc., a leading agency in mobile and digital strategy and web content management for the federal government. She successfully led several projects for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration including reorganization of significant content for sections of the website and the design of the agency’s first mobile website. Suzanne was the program manager for a large project that plans, builds, and maintains an extensive portfolio of websites for the Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

From her new Denver office, Suzanne works with both small and large groups providing an array of communications services. She works with a small and growing gluten free pizza crust manufacturer called Wild Flour Bakery, LLC–based in Boulder, the natural foods mecca of the West–to develop and carry out a social media marketing plan. She also works with the Denver-based American Water Works Association (AWWA) and has managed the creation of the brand, concept, and strategic communications plan for a large new philanthropic initiative within this member organization.

Suzanne has a degree in English Literature and International Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, and spent two years teaching English in rural Poland with the U.S. Peace Corps. She also worked for Arthur Andersen and KPMG Peat Marwick managing logistics and teams for USAID-funded fiscal development programs based in Russia, Eastern Europe, and the Philippines.
